Executive Chef Chris Kaigler

With over 22 years in the culinary arts, Chef Chris leaves his distinctive mark in every dish he creates. He is a highly respected and accomplished chef with a diversity of cuisines and international food preparation styles.

Chef Chris is a graduate of The California Culinary Academy and brings to us, years of Southern California experience. He specializes in making amazing food for large groups, catering for 500-2500 guests. He has participated in and was responsible for press and media events during the Republican National Convention, Super Bowl, Grammys, and Red Carpet Events.

Chef Chris is a proponent of using fresh foods. He has mastered the use of spices and seasonings to bring out the flavor in food, the key behind his culinary masterpieces.

With an appetite for adventure, curiosity and a will to learn from the best, Chef Chris has worked his way up with his enthusiasm and love for cooking in some of San Diego's and Metro Detroit’s finest food and catering establishments; such as V.P Catering and Events, Opus to Go, Detroit Athletic Club, Faz Restaurant, The Radisson Hotel, and The San Diego Convention Center.` He has brought to Events of Excellence Catering, creative, resourceful, and thought in developing new concepts in our menu items.

Events of Excellence Catering is a premier catering company serving the Metropolitan Detroit area. We are a full service catering company. We specialize in first class catering at a budget most people can afford.

Events of Excellence Catering is fully licensed and insured. All food is prepared in our professional kitchen where all our staff are trained in food service. All wait-staff go through our training class and attend the safe food handling class conducted by the City of Detroit Health Department.

This is kind of a random message, but I think that it is important.

I just wanted you to know that Stacie has been a complete joy to work with. This is my first year planning the James Group's picnic. I have never planned an event on this large a scale and she's made it a lot easier.

She has been calling me consistently since we decided to have you cater for us to check up on our plans and make sure everything is in order. She went beyond what she had to do and called Joker's Entertainment (the company from which we buy our moonwalks) and got the order straight with them in order to get us the bouncy you promised us for free.

She is prompt with revised proposals and always has a kind and sweet attitude on the phone. She will even call me on my cell after hours to make sure we are on the same page.

She is very smart (at times thinking of things that I'd forgotten) and competent with her work. One day I asked her if she'd be helping us out on the day of the picnic just because she was doing such a good job of making something that could be a lot more stressful relatively easy! I wanted her there to delegate. : )

You probably already know all this, and I could go on and on, but I really appreciate her attitude and her service. It's hard to find people now-a-days who care about what they do. She seems like she really wants what we plan together to be a success.

I just want you to know that the service your staff provided at the park was outstanding. They were so professional. Everything looked beautiful, the food was presented very well and the taste was wonderful. The only thing I was not too satisfied with was the peach cobbler. It was too sweet, and it had too much spice, possibly cinnamon. I'm a cook, and peach cobbler is excellent with just a minimum amount of nutmeg. Some of the family enjoyed it, but 50% did not. This is not a criticism, just food for thought. Thanks so much again for making our family reunion a success. I will certainly refer your service.
